What started as a 534 sqft basement and crawl space became a fully finished 1,158 sqft walkout basement designed around this homeowner’s vision for a custom recording studio. We excavated 624 sqft of crawl space, added a new walkout entrance, and completely remodeled the existing basement to include a professional recording studio, control room, living area, kitchenette, bathroom, custom bar, and built-in storage.

Built on a caisson foundation, this project required specialized structural engineering, waterproofing, and excavation work before the finishing phase could begin. Completed in five months while the homeowners remained in the house, this space now features 8’8″ ceilings, CAT 6 wiring, double-thick acoustic walls, custom maple cabinetry, a hidden bookcase door, and a one-of-a-kind guitar display.
